So... Here's the thing. I'll be going to Brown next year. God willing and the crick don't rise. It really came down to three: Amherst, Brown, and Swarthmore. And, well, I'm sure they'd all've been very nice. But, well, there it is. I'm not feeling too ecstatic about it or anything, and, quite frankly, there's really no joy whatsoever in deciding. It's just... something that got done.

the college choice wasn't an easy one for me, either. but brown is a good school, and you'll have an amazing, amazing four years

I think Brown is the right choice for you. Feel relieved, if nothing else!

Congrats on deciding. :) In a month, I imagine you'll start being excited (when it's no longer a "Make this very important choice!" thing and more like "Look at all the cool things that are going to happen!"

*hugs* I'll come visit when I'm doing my grad school tour.

Wow, I was waiting for, "And we all know that Brown killed my kitten when I was five, but now I'm forgiving them, because Swarthmore ate my tricycle and Amherst squished my sand castle . . . so it was the lesser of three evils, so to speak . . ."

'Course, my college decision was a piece of cake, since everybody and their mother rejected/waitlisted me, so I really have no room to talk *laughs*

Visiting Bucknell is what really got me happy, because I got to sit in on some classes and meet the leaders of a few clubs I plan to take over . . . I mean join . . . *coughs* So it was fun.
